I loved it. My parents immigrated to Little Italy in the 1950’s and began their married life in the neighborhood that you so vividly write about. Reading this story gave me a glimpse of what it was like for my uncles, aunts and brother to grow up in the 50’s and 60’s in New York’s Little Italy. Bravissimo!
